SmartAgriHubs
SmartAgriHubs is a €20 M EU project under the Horizon 2020 instrument, and brings together a consortium of well over 164 partners in the European agri-food sector. The project aims to realize the digitization of European agriculture by fostering an agricultural innovation ecosystem dedicated to excellence, sustainability and success.
AGROINTELLI is involved under the Scandinavian Regional Cluster in two Flagship Innovation Experiments: Valued Grain Chain and Digitizing Farm Machinery produced by SMEs. The Valued Grain Chain experiment uses technology to identify grain lots, define their quality and record cultivation history to improve business models of Nordic arable farmers. The Digitizing Farm Machinery produced by SMEs experiment consists in Advising farmers on business plans and the digitization of their machinery through expert-led workshops, to improve competitiveness and reduce energy consumption.
In both experiments AGROINTELLI is actively contributing with precision agriculture technologies and automation systems that help optimize field operations and trace automatically the produce from field level.
SmartAgriHubs has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement no. 818182.
