Strawberry is a perennial and very open crop, hence the mechanical weeding is essential for controlling the weeds. For good management of weeds in strawberries the planting needs to be done with very high precision. In this case an Egedal CP planter was utilized. 

As a perennial and very open crop strawberries needs multiple weedings during a growing season. In this case an old standard weeder with finger weeders was used for the weeding 10 times.
